Art 360 - Terms and Conditions for submitting applications to participate in DACS Foundation’s Art 360 project beginning in 2016

DACS Foundation will accept applications between 9am on 19th February 2016 (The Opening Date) and midday on 4th April 2016 GMT (The Closing Date). Any applications received by DACS Foundation after the Closing Date will not be considered. 

Applicants must apply online on the DACS Foundation website. DACS Foundation will not accept postal applications except for large copy format applications received by DACS Foundation before the Closing Date. If you are experiencing problems with the online application form, please contact

Applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. Applicants must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom and be able to demonstrate that they have this right on request by DACS Foundation at any time.  Applicants agree to notify DACS Foundation immediately of any change to their immigration status. Such notification should be sent

Each applicant shall only submit one entry per year.  Unsuccessful applicants may re-apply in 2017 and 2018 subject to eligibility. 

Successful applicants will be selected by a panel of artists and DACS Foundation representatives from all applications received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. DACS Foundation reserves the right to make further enquiries relating to applications and applicants’ eligibility to participate in the project. 

The panel's decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into and the panel’s deliberations will remain confidential. For the avoidance of doubt, DACS Foundation will not disclose any information related to the decision-making process including the criteria used to arrive at its decision. Requests for such information will not be processed. 

DACS Foundation will notify successful applicants by email or telephone (using the details provided at entry) in June 2016. Successful applicants shall confirm their willingness to participate within three (3) working days of notification. 

If the selection panel cannot contact the successful applicant (via the details provided in the application) within ten (10) working days after the panel has made its selection or if the applicant does not confirm his/her willingness to participate within the aforementioned allotted time, that applicant may be disqualified. The selection panel reserves the right to select another applicant to take the place of the disqualified applicant. 

DACS Foundation, its agents, sub-contractors and affiliates do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction with any online applications or otherwise which may result in any partial applications or applications not being properly received.

By entering the online application process applicants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Applicants also agree to their name being published on the DACS Foundation website and via DACS Foundation social media accounts.

In accepting these Terms and Conditions, applicants warrant that the information provided in their application is true to the best of their knowledge. DACS Foundation reserves the right to disqualify any applicants that it considers to have supplied untruthful, inaccurate or misleading information. Applicants agree to inform DACS Foundation immediately if any information in or relating to their application changes. DACS Foundation, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to exclude applicants from participating in the application process if it believes that said applicants are in breach of these Terms and Conditions. 

Information provided by applicants will not be shared with third parties except for DACS Foundation’s current or future partners (including but not limited to the Arts Council of England, DACS, the Art Fund, National archives and the Henry Moore Foundation). The completion of an application does not guarantee that an applicant will participate in the Art360 project. Successful applicants will be asked to sign a Participant Agreement with DACS Foundation. Participation in the Art360 project will be dependent upon signature of said Participant agreement and acceptance of any other terms and conditions DACS Foundation may impose in its discretion. 

Applicants may withdraw their application at any time by notifying DACS Foundation in writing. DACS Foundation will consider all such withdrawals as final. 

Should DACS Foundation disclose any sensitive or confidential information to the applicants, the latter shall treat this information as confidential and shall not further disclose said information to any third parties. 

DACS Foundation may change or vary these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice.  It is the responsibility of applicants to ensure that they review these Terms and Conditions regularly on the application page.  

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law, the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
